Tramonte Design Studio is looking to hire a mid-level interior designer with 5+ years experience to join our talented, team-oriented and design-focused Houston practice. TDS is a business-focused firm dedicated to the delivery of high-quality design, client engagement and efficient project delivery.

Specific Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to

  • Work under a Project Manager through all phases of the design process

  • Produce construction documents and graphic presentations

  • Source and specify materials, fixtures, appliances and equipment

  • Coordinate and communicate with project consultants and contractors

  • Effectively meet deadlines and client expectations

  • Share in resource library organization and maintenance

  • Furniture specification and coordination

  • Foster a commitment to client service and business development

  • Manage projects that are suitable for individual attention

Qualifications

  • Higher Education Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture required 5 + years of experience required

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite preferred

  • Working knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations, Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), International Building Codes (IBC) in regard to application/relevance to design required

  • Previous commercial experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a team environment with good collaboration skills

  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills

  • Commitment to gain licensure preferred

open position | sENIOR PROJECT ARCHITECT

Tramonte Design Studio is looking to hire a mid-level interior designer with 5 - 10 years experience to join our talented, team-oriented and design-focused Houston practice. TDS is a business-focused firm dedicated to the delivery of high-quality design, client engagement and efficient project delivery.

Specific Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to

  • Work with Project Manager and Project Designer through all phases of the design process

  • Develop schematic design options and produce renderings and/or 3d views for review with senior designer

  • Master-planning and graphic presentations

  • Produce construction documents and graphic presentations

  • Lead junior architects in development of construction documents, presentations, and construction administration

  • Work with PM on scheduling team members and projects appropriately

  • Source and specify materials and systems

  • Coordinate and communicate with project consultants and contractors

  • Effectively meet deadlines and client expectations

  • Foster a commitment to client service and business development

  • Efficiently handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Higher Education Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture required

  • 5 to 10 years of experience required

  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite preferred

  • Working knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations, Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), International Building Codes (IBC) in regard to application/relevance to design required

  • Previous commercial experience required
